The History Makers International Summit of History and Current Affairs Producers, has invited Phillip Rodriguez to participate in a panel discussion titled, “Whose history is it anyway?” This year’s Summit will take place at the Marriott Downtown in New York City from January 29-31, 2009. The Summit will reveal current thinking and trends which inspire the world’s best programs and program creators.
Rodriguez will participate in the panel discussion on Thursday, January 29th, from 3:30pm-4:30pm (EST).
USC Annenberg School for Communication’s Knight Digital Media Center, will be hosting, American Tapestry: Covering a Changing America from December 3rd- 6th at the USC Davidson Conference Hotel and the Radisson Midtown Los Angeles Hotel. The seminar invited 18 university educators from the top journalism schools in the country to highlight key demographic trends in the 21st Century that cut across economic, geographic, cultural, social and political lines. Phillip Rodriguez was invited to the seminar to screen his latest documentary, Latinos '08, which followed with a Q&A session.

Phillip Rodriguez will speak at the 2006 Latino Leaders Luncheon Series in Washington D.C. on November 15th at 10:00am as a panelist during the Latino Issue Hour: Arts & Entertainment.
