Artists Change the World

In an effort to share artists' work around the globe, City Projects and United States Artists (USA) introduce Art Wired, a new web based program designed to educate Americans about the value of artists in the U.S. today through a series of video shorts profiling artists and their work. Unique in tone and content, each video provides a glimpse into the lives of individual artists, their artwork and the creative process.

Students from a variety of university/college disciplines including arts journalism, fine arts, new media and film are now working with City Projects to share these videos throughout the web in an effort to build new communities surrounding art and artists in the U.S.

United States Artists (USA) is a new non-profit organization celebrating the fearless impulse that compels every great artist to create and inspire us to think. USA backs up this belief by awarding 50 of America's finest artists a grant of $50,000 each year. www.unitedstatesartists.org
